Jill Hall
Interim Director of Corporate Affairs (Non-voting)
Jill joined the Board in a new interim role in December 2023 following a nine-month period as a specialist consultant. This saw her identify opportunities for improvement while ensuring all regulatory requirements were met, alongside a full review of risk management and the Board Assurance Framework.
She is now furthering this work for the QEH with a portfolio that includes corporate and clinical governance, risk management and the council of governors.
Jill is a highly competent and experienced professional with more than 25 years NHS and local government experience at board and senior level.
Recent career highlights include board level consultant governance roles in a range of NHS trusts, including the Tavistock and Portman, Homerton Healthcare, Royal Cornwall and Dorset Healthcare.
She is skilled in planning and co-ordinating work programmes, annual plans, production of NHS trust annual reports and performance management.
Jill is experienced in implementing change and turnaound projects as well as programmes of work in board and clinical governance, including identification of risk, cost benefit analysis and management of budgets to deliver change.
