Clinical Support Services Workplan

The Clinical Support Services Division is a diverse division comprising 18 departments and 650 colleagues who provide pharmacy services, diagnostic screening, testing and imaging, therapies, and laboratory services across QEH.

The workplan sets out the actions that the Clinical Support Services Division will take to support the Trustís strategic objectives and journey of improvement towards becoming the best rural District General Hospital for patient and staff experience.

Medicine Workplan

The workplan celebrates the diverse teams working across the Division of Medicine, including Acute Medicine, Frailty Care, Emergency Department, General Medicine and specialist teams. It sets out the important role that each of us will play in the QEHís journey of improvement to becoming a hospital that our local communities can be proud of for the high standards of care we consistently deliver.

Surgery Workplan

The workplan sets out how the Division will work together from a range of specialisms to consistently provide safe and compassionate care for our patients and their families, and meet our strategic objectives in the year ahead as outlined in our Corporate Strategy.

Our Division of Surgery carries out both emergency and elective (planned) surgery, working across four inpatient wards, our 13-bed Critical Care Complex, Day Surgery and Main Theatres, as well as our clinics and services for outpatients.
