Chief Nurse

Pippa Street, a compassionate nurse leader with extensive leadership experience across a wide range of NHS organisations, became the new Chief Nurse at The QEH in August 2023.

She joined from Bedfordshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust where she was Deputy Director of Quality and Safety Governance / Patient Safety Specialist for 18 months.

Her long and accomplished career has seen Pippa attain a unique portfolio of significant acute experience as well as in commissioning, primary care, community care, mental health and ICS settings.

She has held a range of nursing leadership roles, including four years as Director of Nursing, Urgent Care directorate at Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust.

Pippa has a fundamental belief of person-centred care, and compassionate leadership values, which has guided her vision, drive, belief, and commitment to take forward the ambitions of all organisations she has worked in.

She describes her Chief Nurse role in King’s Lynn as a fantastic opportunity to work collegiately with the Executive, Trust Board and all staff to continue the innovation and transformational journey of The QEH.
