The Kindness Award

Criteria:

The winner of this award will have been an exceptional role model for kindness, whether this is toward patients or colleagues. They will always treat people with kindness, be friendly and approachable and live up to their promises by always doing what they say they will do.

They will provide excellent examples of working together to achieve goals and provide high quality services. They will communicate openly, share information regularly and take time to build trusting relationships with their team, leading to high quality patient care and experience.

They will be attentive to the needs of others and willingly offer help where they can see it may be needed.

Please note: there are many ways in which members of Team QEH go above and beyond for our patients and their families.

As a Trust, we are supporters of staff health and wellbeing, which includes staff taking adequate breaks, rest and self-care. As such, nominations which focus on staff working additional hours will not alone improve the ranking of the nomination rather nominations will be considered in the rounds.

Nominations:

This award is open to all members of staff and will be open to nominations from Team QEH only.

Judging:

The shortlist will be chosen by a panel of 5, comprising members of the Divisional Leadership Teams, Corporate Leads, Governors and the Freedom to Speak Up Guardian.
