Team QEH Awards 2024

Celebrate Exceptional Care: Nominate Your Heroes for the Team QEH Awards 2024

It’s time to celebrate the excellent care being delivered everyday by local healthcare workers – if you or a loved one have experienced exceptional care that deserves shouting about then The Queen Elizabeth King’s Lynn Foundation Trust (QEH) wants to hear from you.

Today nominations for this year’s Team QEH awards are officially open. These awards are designed to acknowledge the dedication and outstanding care provided by the staff and teams within the Trust, offering you a unique opportunity to say thank you and give a little something back those who have made a significant impact on your healthcare experience.

So please, step forward and tell us who your healthcare heroes would be – so we can join together to celebrate them! This is your chance to shine a light on the exceptional individuals and teams who have demonstrated extraordinary care, support, and kindness.

The Team QEH Awards 2024 supported by sponsor Palm Paper Ltd.

This year, we have 13 categories open for public nominations designed to celebrate teams and individuals alike. The categories are:

  • Exceptional Quality of Care Award
  • Clinical Team of the Year Award
  • Non-Clinical Team of the Year Award
  • One to Watch Award
  • Leader of the Year Award - Sponsored by exi-Group.
  • Outstanding Achievement in Innovation - Sponsored by NICHE Anchor Institute.
  • The Kindness Award
  • The Wellness Award
  • The Fairness Award
  • The John Voaden Volunteer of the Year Award
  • Unsung Hero Award - Sponsored by R G Carter.
  • Living to our Values Award
  • Working Together Award

Nominations will undergo a rigorous shortlisting process by a panel, with finalists invited to a special evening where the winners will be announced and all nominees celebrated for the extraordinary contributions they have made to patient care. The John Voaden Volunteer of the Year Award finalists will be put to public vote to select the winner.

Along with these 13 categories the awards evening will also reveal the winner of a very special award, ‘The Chair’s Award’, which is a non-entry category and is hand selected by Trust Chair, Chris Lawrence.

Alice Webster, CEO at The QEH, said: “Every day, our staff make a difference in the lives of patients and families, from welcoming new arrivals, to emergency treatment and dignity in end-of-life care.

“The Team QEH Awards celebrate the outstanding care and compassion that is so prevalent across all areas of our Trust. Our team continues to exceed expectations, providing an exceptional service to our community and this is one way the community can thank them and make sure they receive the recognition they deserve.

“So please – we want to hear from you! Tell us about the outstanding care you have received. Share your stories of the shining stars among us and help us honour the remarkable dedication of our staff.”

Nominations for the Team QEH Awards 2024 are now open and will close on Friday 14 June 2024.
