Stoma Care

The specialist team of nurses are trained and experienced in the field of colorectal and stoma care and liaise closely with the wider multi-disciplinary team and primary care.

The stoma care team strives to ensure that every patient undergoing stoma forming surgery feels well supported in order to return to their normal life.

Our stoma care team support patients with:

• Sore skin
• Delivering supplies
• Leaking bags
• Constipation, diarrhoea, high output
• Product accessories and support garments
• Teaching
• Lifestyle, travel and diet advice

The team are available between 8am and 4pm, Monday to Friday.
