Mortuary

The purpose of the hospital’s mortuary is to provide after-death care for all patients who pass away in the hospital and to facilitate their release to their designated funeral director in a timely fashion. The department also acts as a public mortuary to admit sudden deaths from the local community for the Norfolk Coroner’s Service.

Opening times

Monday – Friday (Excluding Bank holidays) 7.30am – 4.00pm

Emergency on-call contactable outside working hours via Switchboard (01553 613613).
