Team of the Week

Do you know a team that has gone above and beyond the call of duty and has made an outstanding difference? Nominate them for Team of the Week.

Every week, a team somewhere in our organisation demonstrates exceptional teamwork, compassion, professionalism, or problem-solving.

Whether that’s delivering outstanding care, supporting colleagues, driving improvements, responding brilliantly to challenges, or simply doing their work with quiet dedication.

Many of these teams don’t always receive the recognition they deserve. Team of the Week is here to change that.

Any team across The QEH:

  • Clinical or non-clinical
  • Patient-facing or behind the scenes
  • Established teams or project groups
  • Staff
  • Patients
  • Families and carers
  • Members of the public
  • Which team you are nominating
  • What they did
  • Why it mattered

Nominations are reviewed and endorsed by senior Trust leaders before a team is confirmed as Team of the Week.

Teams will be contacted and invited to take part in a photocall, which will be shared:

  • On QNet
  • Trust news
  • Trust social media channels

Teams who demonstrate:

  • Strong teamwork and shared purpose
  • Positive impact on patient care or staff experience
  • Commitment to our Trust values
  • Professionalism, kindness, and collaboration
