Foundation Trust membership

As an NHS Foundation Trust, we are able to develop services to suit the needs of our local community. We still follow NHS quality standards, performance ratings, and inspection systems. We will also continue to provide services free, based on need and not ability to pay.

But through our membership and Council of Governors we are more accountable to staff, patients and local people. These groups work with our Board of Directors to aid planning and decision-making.

What does it mean to be a member?

Our members care about the services we provide, how we are performing and our future plans. Your views will help us create a brighter future for all healthcare and experience.
