Working together to improve and protect our health and wellbeing
We are a member of the West Norfolk Alliance.
The West Norfolk Alliance is a partnership of statutory and non-statutory agencies involved in delivering health and social care in west Norfolk.
We have made a formal commitment to change the way we work together and to develop a new way of providing care that is better for people and financially sustainable in the long term.
Members of the Alliance believe that it is essential to make changes to the way in which care is delivered in west Norfolk if we are to improve and protect our future health and wellbeing. Decreasing budgets, combined with increasing demand for services mean continuing as we are simply will not be an option if we are to meet the future needs of our population.
We understand that the idea of changing such important services can cause concern, but we think that this is a real opportunity to redesign how we work and improve and protect the services that local people rely on.
We will be involving patients/service users, carers, the public and people who have an interest in health and wellbeing in west Norfolk in the process so that the knowledge, expertise and experiences of these people can influence important decisions and help to shape services that better meet our community’s needs – now and into the future.
