As part of the national NHS Sexual Safety Charter and in line with recent updates to the Equality Act 2010, we have launched a zero tolerance campaign against sexual harrassment and abuse.
We want our hospital to be a place where:
- Respect and dignity are at the heart of every interaction
- Sexual harassment and abuse are never tolerated
- Staff, patients, and visitors feel empowered to speak up and are supported when they do
Our programme provides:
- Clear confidential reporting routes for staff and patients
- Preventative steps and support systems for those affected
- Firm action against sexual misconduct
