MRSA policy (including MRSA screening policy)
Compliance Statement - The Department of Health has issued guidelines to each hospital, stating that elective admissions (with some exclusions, unless identified by the Trust's current policy of high risk patients) must be screened for MRSA prior to their procedure. The Queen Elizabeth Hospital has put measures in place to meet these guidelines. Each Trust is required to publish their MRSA Screening Policy. The Queen Elizabeth Hospital has included MRSA elective and emegency screening as part of their MRSA Policy.
