Norfolk County Council will be carrying out work to improve the bus service routes around the hospital site.
Works will begin on Monday 17 February and run through to Friday 11 April.
Temporary road closures
For this work to be carried out safely, temporary night closures will be in place.
A1076 Gayton Road between the hospital mini-roundabout and service road entrance. The closures will take place between 7pm and 6.30am, Monday to Friday.
Access to the hospital will be maintained throughout via the service road from those arriving from the west (Gaywood) and via the main entrance route for those arriving from the east (A149). Access for blue light vehicles will be maintained throughout all closures.
These proposed works will include the relocation of a pedestrian island to improve access for buses entering the site, the creation of a new zebra crossing and carriageway resurfacing.
Changes to bus services
Buses will be unable to serve stops on Gayton Road near to Elvington Road due to the road closure. The nearest alternative bus stop is at the hospital. This will affect Lynx bus services 34 only.
