TeamQEH taking part in charity skydive for Maternity Bereavement Suite Appeal

40 members of TeamQEH are taking to the sky to help raise £185,000 for the appeal. On Wednesday 14 October clinical staff - including many from the Maternity Team and the Maternity Bereavement Midwife as well as admin and management staff will be jumping out of a plane in the name of charity.

The initial skydive date was 30 July - in order to coincide with the QEH 40 Anniversary celebrations – however, due to COVID-19 it was postponed.

A number of those taking part are frightened of heights and they will have to overcome their fears to support the cause. For others it will be a personal challenge. All of them have one thing in common – they would love to be sponsored and make this fundraising event a great success!
