Dementia Fair

We're proud to be holding our Dementia Fair at The QEH on Friday 9 May, from 11am to 2pm.

Open to staff, patients, carers and members of the public, this event will bring together dementia experts, local charities, and healthcare professionals for a day of learning, discussion, and support.

What's happening on the day

You'll hear from guest speakers covering everything from the future of dementia care to the benefits of exercise therapy. Talks will include:

  • The future and prevention of dementia - Dr Katie Honney
  • The Herbert Protocol - PC Chloe Geary, Norfolk Police
  • Chatterton House Memory Assessment and Treatment Service Update - Dr Kathyrn Sams
  • The New Hospital and Dementia - Toni Platts
  • Benefits of exercise therapy - Steve Hitchens, EPIC Norfolk

You'll also be able to visit stalls from a wide range of organisations offering advice, resources, and information - including Age UK, Alzheimer's Society, Careline, Dementia UK, Lily, and many more.

Whether you're living with dementia, caring for a loved one, or simply want to learn more, come along and join us.

The event is free, but tickets are required.
