BadgerNet and Badger Notes
What is BadgerNet?
BadgerNet is a Platform, created and managed by CleverMed Ltd. It is a patient data management service.
BadgerNet Maternity is designed as a full end-to-end maternity system. It allows real-time recording of all events wherever they occur: in the hospital, community, or home. This includes both high risk and low risk pregnancy pathways. Based on a woman-centred care model, the BadgerNet Maternity system comes with a portal for women to view and access their own maternity records online.
Badger Notes
Badger Notes allows you real-time access to your maternity records over the internet through your PC, tablet device or smartphone.
This is an opt-in service and if you decline to use it your information will not be available to anyone via Badger Notes.
The information that appears is generated in real-time from your hospital-based maternity system using details entered by your midwife or other healthcare professionals involved in your care.
Security
All information is held securely and cannot be accessed without appropriate login details. Maternity Notes uses the same secure platform used by the health care professionals involved maternity care.
How to access Badger Notes on your PC or Tablet

The Booking Coordinator or your Midwife will provide you with a security phrase and record your contact details, including your email address and mobile number.

You can login to the Maternity Notes website by navigating to the following URL in your web browser: https://www.badgernotes.net/

After entering your e-mail address and secruity phrase, the system will ask for a confirmation code. This will be texted to you.

If using a tablet device, after entering your confirmation code you will need to set a PIN code.

You are now ready to view your records.
How to access Badger Notes on your smartphone
To access the service on your smartphone, please download the BadgerNet Badger Notes app from the relevant App Store. Once opened, please follow the step above; however rather than navigate to the URL (step 2), please open the Maternity Notes app to continue. For added security we recommend that you set a lock-screen password on your device if this is not already present.
