Outreach services at Littleport's St George's Medical Centre - Gynaecology

The department provides clinical services to women mainly from West Norfolk and the Fenland areas, also covering other parts of Norfolk, Cambridgeshire, West Suffolk and Lincolnshire. Most of the clinical activities take place at the QEH in King's Lynn with outreach general gynaecology at the North Cambridgeshire Hospital, Wisbech and St George’s Medical Centre, Littleport and fertility clinics at Bowthorpe Health Centre, Norwich.

Several gynaecological investigations, ultrasound scans, procedures are performed and endometrial samples taken, as a one-stop visit, leading to an excellent new to follow-up ratio. Further referral to special interest clinics can be offered as appropriate e.g. Ambulatory Hysteroscopy, Colposcopy, Fertility, Urodynamics, Posterior Tibial Nerve Stimulation (PTNS), Pessary Clinic, Postmenopausal and Combined Oncology Clinic.
