Outreach services at Littleport's St George's Medical Centre - Gastroenterology
Outpatient Gastroenterology services at the QEH includes the work of five consultant Gastroenterologists with a wide variety of specialist expertise. The service is highly skilled in the management and treatment of various forms of bowel disease, acute and chronic liver disease and also offers diagnostic procedures such as sigmoidoscopy and endoscopy
The Gastroenterology department will be delivering a clinic service at St George's Medical Centre from late February 2013, providing patients in the local area with access to a consultant led clinic service without the need to travel to the Hospital premises. This new service will be provided by Dr Alan Wiles with the aim of improving the service experience for patients in the Littleport area.
