King's Lynn Hospital's League of Friends

The League of Friends of the King's Lynn Area Hospitals was registered as a charity in 1953. In that time the willing band of volunteers, who staff the hospital shop and carry out other fundraising activities, have raised millions of pounds which has been spent on essential equipment for the hospital.

Valuable equipment

During the last financial year the League paid for a staggering £227,000 worth of equipment, this included:

  • 30 Volumetric Pumps (£85,050)
  • A portable X-ray machine (£29,325)
  • Bladder Scanner (£12,642)
  • Vauxhall Astra for transport of bloods etc (£7,780)
