Outreach services at Fakenham Medical Centre - General Surgery
The QEH General Surgery department has ten Consultant General Surgeons, specialising in various areas of expertise covering Vascular, Endocrine, Upper GI, Colorectal, Breast, Paediatric and General Surgery procedures.
We have two Associate Specialists within the department who cover Colorectal and Breast Surgery. In addition we also have four Specialist Registrars (SpR’s) and six Staff Grades all of whom carry out clinics and operate under the guidance and management of the consultants.
We also offer Specialist Nurse support for Colorectal, Upper GI and Breast.
Weekly clinics and some procedures are offered at various sites including North Cambridgeshire Hospital, Wisbech,Fakenham Medical Practice and St Georges Medical Centre at Littleport.
