Outreach services at Fakenham Medical Centre - Gastroenterology
Outpatient Gastroenterology services at the QEH includes the
work of five consultant Gastroenterologists with a wide
variety of specialist expertise. The service is highly skilled in
the management and treatment of various forms of bowel
disease, acute and chronic liver disease and also offers
diagnostic procedures such as sigmoidoscopy and endoscopy
The Gastroenterology department now delivers a clinic service at Fakenham Medical Practice, providing patients in the local area with access to a consultant led clinic service without the need to travel to the Hospital premises. This new service has been developed by Dr Andrew Douds with the aim of improving the service experience for patients in the Fakenham area.
