The Award for Outstanding Achievement in Education or Research

Criteria:

This award will be presented to an individual who has demonstrated exceptional dedication or creative thinking in their work to develop or improve services for our patients and/or learners.

Researchers will have been instrumental in the creation, launch or management of research programmes within the Trust. They will have contributed to our vision to become a leading applied health service research centre by integrating discovery and innovation and translating this into world class patient care.

Educators will have made an outstanding contribution to the learning journey, life, or career of their learners through their passion for the role. They will have consistently acted as an advocate, supporting and inspiring them to achieve to the best of their abilities, helping QEH to grow a sustainable workforce. They may not be in an official educational role, but will have acted as a teacher and mentor to others, supporting the learning and development of other members of Team QEH.

Nominations:

This award is open to all members of staff who act as educators or mentors, as well as those working in research settings. It will be open to nominations from Team QEH only.

Judging:

The shortlist will be chosen by a panel of 5, comprising members of the Divisional Leadership Teams, Corporate Leads, Governors and the Freedom to Speak Up Guardian.
