Paediatric ear, nose and throat (ENT) service
The ENT department offers a similar range of services to children as adults but tailored to their needs. Inpatient care for children takes place on Rudham ward. Complex airway problems in children are managed through networked links with our partnership hospitals at Norwich and Cambridge. Operations performed at the here on children include:

- Pinnaplasty
- Division of tongue tie

Your consultant will provide a detailed explanation of your child's condition or details of any planned surgery in order to obtain your consent for your child to undergo a procedure. You and your child should feel free to ask any questions you may have about the condition or procedure. Post operative emergencies
In the event of a problem in the post operative period, you should contact the ENT office on 01553 613724 or 01553 613686. Out of hours emergencies may require attendance at the A and E department which will refer you to the on-call ENT team if necessary.
