Insulin Passports

In March 2011, the National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA) issued a Patient Safety Alert, The adult patient’s passport to safer use of insulin, aimed at empowering patients with diabetes to take a more active role in their treatment to avoid being given the wrong insulin. This passport is useful to keep on your person at all times, for any emergency that may arise.
