The Chairman’s Award for Challenging the Status Quo

Criteria:

Challenging the status quo is important because it can allow leaders to evaluate the way the organisation operates and consider new ideas. This can promote creativity in the workplace and encourage others to share their own thoughts.

This award will go to an individual who has kickstarted a Trust-wide change in approach in the workplace by speaking up and challenging the status quo.

They may have publicly discussed their own mental or physical wellbeing challenges, or spoken up about the support available for staff, inspiring and motivating Trust leaders to make a change.

They may have identified and challenged behaviours or practices that do not align with the QEH core values and behaviours, to help create a better culture for patients and staff alike.

Nominations:

This award is open to all members of staff and students and will be open to nominations from Team QEH only.

Judging:

The shortlist and winner of this award will be chosen by the Chairman.
